Welcome to our first issue of BAS Mat Talk!
This will be our monthly home for bigger gym updates, important dates, class openings, team reminders, fundraisers, athlete highlights, and upcoming events.
Quick reminders, last-minute changes, and updates between newsletters will still be shared through Band, so please check Band regularly.

Hey BAS Families,
As Bartow Allstars grows, communication is going to be a huge part of keeping everything running smoothly.
This monthly newsletter will help families stay informed, organized, and connected as we head into summer and our first All-Star season.
We are building something special at BAS, and I am so thankful your family is part of it!

IMPORTANT DATES
May 27 — Dollhouse Commitment and Signing Day
5:00-5:45 PM Athletes and parents will sign their commitment and join the team!
May 29 — Evaluation Commitments Deadline
Last day to accept your spot on the team!
May 31 — Mandatory All-Star Boot Camp
All All-Star athletes are required to attend boot camp on May 31. This is mandatory for every All-Star athlete and will help us prepare for the start of the season.
June 1 — All-Star Teams Begin
Our All-Star teams officially begin June 1.
June 13 — Mandatory Clinic with Coach Brandy
On Saturday, June 13, we will have a mandatory clinic with Coach Brandy from The B Experience. This clinic is part of our preparation for upcoming All-Star season choreography.

NEW TEAMS FORMING
Our new performance teams start June 1.
These teams are a great option for athletes who want to build confidence, learn routines, and be part of BAS with a lower commitment than All-Star.
All Star Team Openings
Our All-Star teams are almost full.
Current openings:
Royal Reign: a couple of spots available
Untamed: a couple of spots available
Dollhouse: one spot available
If your athlete is interested in joining an All-Star team, please reach out as soon as possible. Once spots are filled, we may not be able to add additional athletes.
Parent Reminders
Payments are due by the 5th
Late fees will be required for late payments
Check Band regularly
Make sure your parent portal is active
Enroll your athlete in the correct June class or team
Athlete Expectations
Athletes are now on a 1-2-3 system during classes and practices.
Warnings may be given for disrupting class, talking during instruction, disrespect, poor attitudes, or not following directions.
On the third warning, parents may be called to pick up the athlete from class.
