Handle with Care​

To keep your athlete’s gear looking sharp all season, please follow these guidelines. Improper care—especially heat—will cause glitter, vinyl, and rhinestones to lift or fall off.

💎 WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Turn all items inside out before washing

• Wash in cold water only

• Use gentle detergent (no bleach, no fabric softener)

• Hand wash is best, but if machine washing:

  • Use delicate cycle

  • Wash separately or with similar items

💨 DRYING (MOST IMPORTANT)

• DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER
  (This is the #1 reason rhinestones, glitter and vinyl peel or fall off)

• Lay flat or hang to air dry only

🔥 HEAT & IRONING

• Avoid all direct heat

• Do not iron over glitter, vinyl, or rhinestones

• If needed:

  • Turn inside out

  • Use low heat only with a cloth barrier

🚫 WHAT TO AVOID

• No dryer (seriously… this is the issue we’re seeing)

• No high heat or hot water

• No soaking for long periods

• Avoid rough handling, scrubbing, or pulling at designs

📦 STORAGE TIPS

• Hang or lay flat—don’t fold directly over designs

• Keep away from heavy pressure (bags, piles, etc.)

• Avoid lotions, sprays, or oils on decorated areas

⚠️ QUICK NOTE

If items are placed in the dryer, lifting, peeling, or loss of glitter/bling is expected and not reversible. Proper care will significantly extend the life of your athlete’s gear.
