Our Facility & Training Environment
Bartow All-Star Cheer & Dance operates in our founding Phase One facility. Intentionally structured to maximize safety, skill progression, and athlete development through clearly designated training zones.
Training Zones
• Dedicated Tumbling Lane for focused repetition and skill progression
• Main Floor Training Area for stunt building, routine development, and team synchronization
• Secondary Training Floor for stretch, conditioning, and technique refinement
• Youth Development Studio. A separate space designed for Littles and focused small-group training
Each space is organized to allow athletes to train efficiently while maintaining strong supervision and structure.
Equipment & Athlete Development Tools
Our facility includes:
• 16-foot air track
• Multiple 10-foot and 20-foot air tracks
• 6 blue panel mats
• 4 barrel mats
• 3 cheese mats
• Resistance bands and conditioning equipment
• Free weights, ankle and wrist weights
• TV for choreography and skill review
• Cameras in all public areas for athlete safety and accountability
• Youth development equipment including bounce house, ball pit, training mats, and skill-building tools
Every piece of equipment is selected with one purpose: safe progression and confident performance.
Looking Ahead
This is Phase One.
As we continue to grow, our long-term vision includes expanding into a larger warehouse-style training facility featuring additional mat space, enhanced spectator areas, and a dedicated spring floor to further elevate competitive training opportunities for our athletes.
Growth is part of the plan and we are just getting started.

Meet Coach Monica

Bartow All-Stars was founded by Monica Rodriguez, a lifelong cheerleader, coach, and community leader with more than two decades of combined experience in youth cheer, sideline, rec, and All-Star training.
Monica grew up in small-town gyms just like this one — places where potential was everywhere, but true technical training wasn’t always accessible. After years of coaching, leading programs, working with athletes, and raising a cheerleader of her own, she saw a need in Bartow: a program that teaches cheer the right way — with heart, precision, and purpose.
Her coaching philosophy is simple:
-
Teach athletes why skills matter
-
Build strong technique before difficulty
-
Develop confidence, leadership, and accountability
-
Create a safe, structured environment where every athlete feels seen and supported
Monica is known for her high standards, positive coaching style, and ability to break down skills so athletes actually understand them, not just memorize routines. She believes in clean technique, strong fundamentals, and building athletes who can walk into any program in the country confident in what they know.
Beyond cheer, Monica brings years of leadership and professional expertise from the business world, where she’s managed teams, developed programs, and built community-focused initiatives. She is deeply invested in Bartow and passionate about creating a program that represents the town with pride and excellence.
For Monica, Bartow All-Stars isn’t just a gym, it’s a mission, a legacy, and a place where athletes learn to win on and off the mat!
